China has a long way to go in cleaning

Although the Chinese government has done a lot on environment protection, the goal of giving people a healthy surrounding to live is still too far from Chinses people.

During recent years, many power station using coal have been shut down, replaced by more clean ones. On the other hand, majority of citizens in cities are using natural gas to cook, which contribute a great deal of CO2 emission. Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of people are crowding into the major cities every years, causing a tremendous pressure on public traffic and refuse treatment. Countless oil are burned everyday in the cities and huge piles of trash are fired around the cities. On the whole, pollution in a city is not getting less but heavy and heavy.

What should government do now is to put more effort in education and sientific researches. Education can let people know what is a better and more clean way to have daily life, like promoting the use of electromagnetic heaters which are more efficient and having no emissions. Research can give the government new ways of addressing these pollution issues, which not only includes cutting the emission but tackling and reducing the pollutions initiatively.

Thanks, Chiguo. This is a good problem solution discussion. I would just like to see the problem that you are discussing (C02 emissions) be stated more clearly in a topic sentence.

You also need to check out these phrases:

"...pollution in a city is not getting less but heavy and heavy."

"Countless oil...."

"What should government do now...."

A good problem and an even better solution. Keep up the good work. By the way, I think they use LPG, not LNG, to cook...
