The meaning to my Life

What gives your life meaning ?I think every individual has his or her distinct answer and understanding to this question .The poor people may regard money the thing meaning most ,the rich may pursue the luxury wherever they are , scholar thirst for the knowledge and truth......
However, for me, what makes my life meaningful is the care and love from friends and parents.
When I was small, every time when I saw orphan on TV, I could feel the pain inside my heart; every time when I was alone at home, I felt the loneliness which can not be described.
Now I grow up to a man, but still, I can not live alone. I can’t live without seeing my friends for couples of days. I am obviously happier and more energetic when I encounter my friend, what is more, many things come to my mind that we can talk for a long time.
The tears crossing my mum's face on the day I leaving for my university life , the helping hand from my friend when I got stuck in learning Chinese and so on. They are the things that often come into my mind, they are the things I will carry with me for the rest of my life, they are the things that give my life the most happiness.

Thank you, Yiguo, for this inspiring post. The imagery (your mother's tears, etc.) that you use to describe what gives your life meaning is very effective. We all can easily relate to that.

In my point of view, our meaning of life is sometimes changable. Maybe, the process of seeking the pith of life can be parts of meaning of life, too, maybe...

I do think that friendship and family are very important to our individual life.Without them, life just becomes meaningless.

Surely we cannot survive in this world without love and care. Can't agree more. Encouragement from others sure cheer us up. It is because of the existence of family and friends that makes our life more filled and meaningful.
